PillTracker is made for people on long-term medication for conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes or thyroid disorders, for time-limited courses such as antibiotics or tapering off cortisone, for family carers managing someone else's medication, and for older users who want few but dependable reminders instead of an overloaded app.
How is PillTracker built?
PillTracker is a native iOS app. Reminders are scheduled locally through the UserNotifications framework. There is no login and no cloud requirement — data stays on the device and is only backed up through iCloud device backup if the user has enabled it. The app does not replace medical advice and is not a medical device.
